Regional Competition 2014

Our Annual Regional Competition is fast approaching congratulations to those selected to compete in the event. The tournament consists of a series of games competing against our associated regions all across Queensland. The competition goes for 3 days and at the end of the tournament each age group will have a team crowned as the champions of Queensland. The dates of the regional competitions are as follows:

Junior Regionals Boys and Girls(u/10's-u/16's)

19th, 20th and21st of April 2014 (Easter long weekend)

What is Futsal?
Futsal is 5 – a – side indoor soccer. Futsal is an abbreviation of the Portuguese phrase 'futebol de salon', which in English means, “football in a large room'. Futsal is generally played on wooden or rubber surfaces, but due to the expanding growth of Futsal over the years and the lack of courts available across the country, Futsal has branched out now plays on synthetic surfaces and artificial grass at local hockey Centre and bowling greens.

Who can play Futsal? 
Pine Rivers Futsal competitions cater for both the keen footballers and for those who just wish to have a little fun with some friends. There are competitions available for juniors and seniors, males and females of all ages starting from as young as 4 years!!!

Pine Rivers Futsal is made up of three clubs that currently exist within the Moreton Bay Regional Shire:
